Slot Diffuser RSD
Purpose
Concealed mounting slot diffusers are applied in settings with heightened aesthetic demands while preserving technical parameters. They are used in supply-exhaust ventilation and in any air conditioning systems. Designed for installation in gypsum board ceilings, they provide excellent aesthetic appeal. They can be utilized for air conditioning, supply, and exhaust. These diffusers allow for creating a continuous line with active and inactive zones, crafting a minimalist design. By adjusting the internal plate, the airflow direction can be altered without changing the air volume. RSD diffusers allow for a 60% variation in airflow while maintaining a stable air stream. These diffusers can be employed at heights of up to 4 meters.
Design and Materials
The construction of this product consists of a high-quality aluminum casing with a horizontal slot opening, the width of which can vary as needed and be 20, 30, or 40mm. The movable internal blade, made of galvanized metal, directs the airflow in the room (movable in the horizontal plane). The frame of such a diffuser has fins for better adhesion of the joint compound with gypsum board.
Depending on your airflow needs, the width of the slot and the length of the diffuser itself is individually selected, but at the same time, a solid single element should be no longer than 3m, preferably up to 2 meters, and the RSDA corner element in the range of 300 to 1000mm. The standard length of the corner element is 500mm (measured on the long side, the outer side), and the standard angle is 90° (not specified), if different, it is written in the name.
It is possible to connect several elements to each other, so that they can be assembled in continuous lines of almost any length, even along the entire perimeter of the room.
For the production of diffusers, a decorative protective coating - powder coating is used. The standard color for coating is white (RAL-9016), but upon the customer's request, the casing and blades can be painted in different colors according to the RAL palette.
Manufacturing
Diffusers from this series include products with a single slot and standard widths of 20, 30, or 40mm. However, it is possible to manufacture any length L with a step of 50mm in the range from 300 to 3000mm.
Order and Installation Example
RSD-20-2 (RAL 9016/9005) L=500 – 20 - slot width 20mm, 2 - with two side flanges (closed edges). Used for elements up to 3 meters. Frame color - white, plate - black.
1 - one side closed, the other open (includes connecting plates for joining slot diffusers together). Used for elements over 3 meters.
0 - without side flanges (used as a middle element when installing multiple slot diffusers in a single line). Used for elements over 6 meters.
RSDA-60°-40-0 (RAL 9016/9005) L=500 - 60° - angle, 40 - width of the slot, 0 - number of end caps (complete with guide strips for centering when connecting to subsequent elements), RAL 9016 - color of the body (white gloss), 9005 - color of the guide strip (black gloss), L=500 - landing length of the diffuser.
