Plenum-box

Plenum boxes are designed for connecting air distribution devices (grilles/diffusers) to the duct system in supply and exhaust ventilation or air heating systems.
SKU: ARPD0390

Purpose

Plenum boxes are designed for connecting air distribution devices (grilles/diffusers) to the duct system in supply and exhaust ventilation or air heating systems.

Construction and Materials

They are made from galvanized steel. Connection can be either lateral or top.

The inlet collar is designed for a male connection with an outer diameter -3 mm from the nominal.

Additional options include:

  • Perforated sheet located inside the plenum at a diagonal for uniform distribution of the air flow across the entire surface.
  • Throttle valve for regulating the supplied air volume.
  • Adjustable internal damper (perforated blade, adjustment handle located inside the plenum).
  • Traverse (a plate at the bottom for attaching diffusers through a central screw).
  • Insulation inside the plenum to reduce noise levels.
  • Flange around the perimeter (external or internal).
  • Powder coating inside/outside following the RAL color catalog.

Manufacturing

Based on the installation dimensions AxB, the height H should be no less than d+50mm (for lateral connection). If the connection is top-mounted, the height can be no less than 100mm.
